1. I haven't gone running for almost a week.
2. Usually by this point on a Friday evening, I've biked at least 110 miles for the week. Today, my bike computer tells me I've biked 32.
3. The average speed for my ride to work today was a whopping 3mph slower than usual--which I'm sure doesn't sound like much to those of you who just push harder with your right foot to go faster, but is a big, big deal. I promise.
These are three feats of total un-fitness that would usually make me crazy. But you know what? I don't care! Because today, it means that after four and a half days of near-solid, feeling-miserable, hacking-my-lungs-out bed-rest, at least I am BACK IN THE FRICKEN WORLD TODAY!!!:) Yes!! Bring it ON, fall! I'm back outside to enjoy you!!
